You don't need a spec. These three make it easier for me to reply with something useful.

  • Who you are

    Developer, learner, shop, or agency. One line is enough. It changes how I reply.

  • What you need

    A URL, a snippet name, or a sentence about the site or plugin. Skip the long brief.

  • When you need it

    A rough date helps. If you are only asking about code, say that — no timeline needed.
